Lucy and Sophie get so excited when Emma comes for the day. We have learned to just wrap her in a blanket before I let them out of their room. They are doing a little better in that it doesn't last quite as long as it used to.

Thanks again, I agree half of the problem is that the doorbell rarely rings. We don't get much company so not much practice time. I also think that she is so big and feisty that people are frightened by her and do not even want to come in until I put her away. ha. I will not give up working with her. She does great at the park when people come over to chat or if another dog comes by. Just that darn door bell!!!! I enjoyed your videos
Eleanor .. OMG, such an old video. This brought back some memories. Here is a link to another video I did with Emma and the girls where we had been working with them on their doorbell manners and made a lot of progress. The problem is that when we don't get much company they loose their manners in the mean time. http://www.doodlekisses.com/video/door-bell-training
OMG, that is my Faye to the T, except my grandsons have never been in a room with Faye unless she is behind a gate or in her cage/bed. They are too frightened of her craziness. 6 & 4. My adult son (30) however watches her from time to time when we take a trip (not very often) but she absolutely does the same thing every time he enters the house. Huh, I guess I am not alone. I just want to break her of this but don't know how. One thing I have learned is that before I have my son come over I usually take Faye in the back yard and let her run like a nut after her ball or toys so she is tired. We love her but she is crazy when someone comes over.
