We're moving Timbow's food bowls from one room to the other. It will work out better in the long run for him and us this way. How should I help him adjust to the new location? It's only one room over (moving his bowls to the kitchen). I put a treat in there, but he wasn't so sure about it. Any other ideas?

I don't think you have to do anything special. My dogs have eaten in just about every room in the house and even outside...but when food is involved they just wanna eat ASAP AND DELIVERY METHOD IS LOW ON THE PRIORITY LIST :)
We have moved Peri's - doesn't matter where it is, little Miss Piggy finds it. Don't worry about it unless there ends up being a problem!
Aww...sweet Timbow! I have no words of advice (except maybe do a first meal with some chicken, or something he really loves in there), but am looking forward to seeing your cutie dood this weekend!
Dogs love routine, and they always seem unsure when something is "out of place". I think Timbow will adjust to the new location very quickly.
Bentley would eat anywhere..so I have no real advice..haha..he loves food...
I regularly feed my dogs in two places. Upstairs food goes in separate spots and they each generally respect each other's spot and only eat from the right bowl. Downstairs each bowl goes in a crate with or without a dog inside. It all works out ant I think Timbow will have no problem.
I bet Timbow's smart enough that he'll adjust quickly. It amazes me how quick they are at picking up new things!
He did fine. I was worried because when I moved it, he refused to use them in the new spot--would go get water from his crate rather than bowl,I put a treat in his food bowl and he wouldn't touch it, ect. Now he seems fine though. I stayed with him while he ate tonight and added egg to his food. :-) He can be funny about his food, so I had to make sure he adjusted well with the change.
Oh goodness, I wish my pack was more picky about their food location. I feed Harlow in the dining room and Baxter & Sherlock in the kitchen. Sounds reasonably simple but there is also 2 cats involved in this routine. The mornings go something like this...
6:00 AM - Alarm clock sounds. Mom takes shower to the music of hungry hounds.
6:10 AM - Mom attempts to dry off without the help of fur-kids' tongues
6:15 AM - 3 dogs dash outside to do their morning business and mom starts coffee
6:15:30 AM - 2 cats dash into kitchen vocally demanding breakfast
6:30 AM - 2 cats leave kitchen to go back to ignoring humans & dogs a like. Mom gets first cup of coffee.
6:30:30 AM - 3 dogs dash back into house looking for breadfast
6:35 AM - 3 dogs dash back outside to do 'after breakfast' business and mom attempts to get ready for work.
6:45 AM - 3 dogs dash back inside and crawl in warm bed with dad. Mom gets second cup of coffee.
7:05 AM - Mom looks longingly at bed containing 1 dad, 3 dogs and at least 1 cat.
7:05:30 AM - Mom gets third cup of coffee, lunch bag and computer and leaves for work. Dad, dogs and cat happily snoring in bed. =)
We just move the bowls, call them and point to their bowl. We tell them to "eat their soup" - if they are hungry they eat. We sometimes feed our dogs upstairs and sometimes downstairs and in our RV we move the bowls around to suit us. They survive!
