Hi all,
I am interested in getting suggestions for mentally stimulating dog toys that can be left with your dog when you are not home to help keep them occupied. I have seen quite a few that are to be used under supervision, but am hoping some of you might have some recommendations for those that are safe to be left. We already have and love the everlasting treat ball but are hoping for some possibly more challenging toys along those lines.
My Penny just loves chewing on antlers, no mess, no smell, and last for a loooog time. As for leaving her, we only leave her for 3 or 4 hours (the advantage of both working from home), but we just crate her and go. But I always make sure she's had a good walk first...Exercise, the answer to everything!
I know what you mean. Sometimes I try to peek in the dining room window but I can't really get a good view of the crates. Didn't you ever think of getting a surveillance camera so you could see just what goes on when you're away? But then I might not like what the doods say about me. I do wonder if they "talk" to each other when I'm gone. They don't seem to when I'm home except when engaged in mock wars.
I am cracking up that you wrote this Kevin. I was just thinking about putting together a "nanny cam" to see what Timbow does in his crate while I'm gone. Probably doesn't do too much, but it would still be interesting. I know, I've seriously have lost my mind. :-)
