I am trying to figure out how big my 3 months old F1 Standard Goldendoodle (Male) will get?
(Parents: Father- 60lb slandered poodle Mother – 55lb Golden retriever)
Well the breeder told me the pup will be Standard (60-90 lb). But based on his current weight, I am bit worried he is not going to grow big. (I needed a big Goldendoodle).
Weight at 8 weeks = 5.9lb
Weight at 12 weeks = 16lb

Spud is only 50lbs and looks huge at times. His foster sister is now 40lbs and looks so skinny. I agree, weight is not a good indication.
Sorry-- did not fix the yellow eyes. But you get the idea.
To add to this also: A pit bull puppy, approx 4 months old was found in my yard the other night. I kept him until I found his owner. He was so tinney, but I could barely hold him he was so heavy.
I also don't understand why you need a big goldendoodle, but weight doesn't always equal big. You can look at my sweet puppy Timbow (1 year old) who weighs 65 lbs, but when people see him they swear he has to be close to 85-90lbs. All of his brothers and sisters here on DK are around the same weight and all look much bigger than what they actually weigh. Are you wanting to take your doodle hunting with you?

Hi All, Thanks for all your advices. The reason to need a "big Goldendoodle" - Well the first time I saw a Goldendoodle, I fallen in love. So I followed the owner and asked "what kine of a dog is he". I got all the info about the dog. Then I made a decision to get a Goldendoodle like the one I saw. Well I know, no matter what size my pup will grow, I still love him the same.
PS: even though the pup is 16lb at 12 weeks, he has long legs. Thanks everone. I will keep you informed as my pup grows.
Baker's parents were about the same size, although a 60+ pound poodle is the father & a 45-55 pound golden retriever is the mother. He is now almost a year old & 27" at the shoulder & weighs 73 pounds. He is not heavy, but quite long. I think your chances are pretty good that your pup with be big like this too :)

Charlie was 22.3 lb at 16 weeks. So, I anticipated her to be around 55 ~ 60 lb. However, she is now a year old and only weight 43lb. She has been at this weight for several months now.
Hi. My doodle seems to have a very similar growth chart to yours. What size is yours now? Can you also tell me how tall yours is fully grown. Thank you for letting me know.
Just curious as to the size of your pup's parents? Our puppy is smaller--but close to your growth schedule so far. At 12 weeks he is about 10 pounds..
I'm just curious as to how big he will get... his mom is 65 pounds and dad is 10 pounds...
Rein, just to let you know - you are not alone in chasing a doodle owner down to find out about their dog! That is exactly what I did and ended up with my doodle = who is not red and not a girl - and I wanted a red girl, but like you, I love him just the same. I have thought about dye???
Well I read all the responses before I put my 2 cents in, and I agree with everyone. I have an 8 month old goldendoodle, he is 63 lbs. looks like he weighs much more, I am sure it is mostly because he is so wavy and furry...He was the runt of the litter, and I was hoping he would be a little smaller then the norm for a standard goldendoodle...BUT he had huge paws, so I knew he would be quite big...And he is, he just looks like a big stuffed dog...People stop us everywhere we go with him to comment on his looks, and he is such a ham, he just loves all the attention and plays to the crowd...I am head over heels in love with this dog, he is the light of my life...All I have to do is look at that sweet goofy face, and I melt...He is such a good boy, hubby and I are so glad he belongs to us, lol....So just love him, and start his training early....He will get very big very quickly, and it is sooo important that he is a well trained animal, especially because of his size...They are very smart, and eager toplease most of the time....Just enjoy him, and love him, you won't be sorry that you are one of the lucky ones to own a doodle..What is your Doods name? Ours is Oliver...
