Bodi has developed some static electricity this winter. I sometimes get little shocks when I pet him! He went to the groomer the week before Christmas and that seemed to stop it for awhile. Now the static is back. Has this happened to anyone else's doodle? Any solutions??

When it happens here, I check to make sure the humidifier is set high enough.
I was petting Callie this morning and made a VISIBLE spark in her fur! She didn't seem bothered by it at all, but it freaked me out!
Try taking a dryer sheet and rub on top of her head and back of neck and back. Make sure its at a place she can't lick .
I would think that you could spray her lightly with finishing spray.
Thanks for the advice!! I don't have a humidifier, but I will try the other suggestions. My DH suggested the dryer sheet and I said NO WAY, but now that you guys have suggested it I will give it a try where Bodi can't reach! Thanks!
This is shocking! Sorry, it's been a very long day. I just ordered "The Stuff" that Kemp Radar recommended from the Doodle Country Store. It's a leave on conditioner that is supposed to be great. I'm thinking that will help with the Winter dry coat. I'll let you know how it works.
I'll have to try something too since I've gotten shocks when kissing Luca.
