What is your New Year's Resolution with your Doodle? Funny or Serious I want to hear!

I know all of our doodles are PERFECT!! But, I made a resolution to improve Parris' jumping up when greeting!!! She is so very obedient but when someone walks in our home, it is like springs come out of her paws and the jumping begins. It has been 2 weeks with a VERY small improvement. I want to hear your resolutions.

My New Year's Resolution with LiliBear is to increase her exercise opportunities by fencing in my yard and taking her to agility class. I also want to work on her behaviors on the leash and in the house :) Presently, LiliBear has the most bounce in class, as she is frequently bouncing up in the air . . . maybe it is a happy 11-month old doodle thing . . . or maybe I just need to teach her to walk with her paws on the ground . . .lol. Best Wishes to us all on our New Year's Resolutions :)
LOVE this one!!!! Parris and I do agility together. We also started when Parris was 11 months old. You are gonna love it. Let me know how you like agility.
Our number one goal for Nemo this year is to help him overcome his reluctance (fear?) of getting into the car. He really doesn't like it at all. We're working on it, by practicing getting in and out, rewarding with chicken, etc. Saw a little improvement today by bringing along a doggy friend who likes to ride in cars. If he can overcome this, he'll be PERFECT in every way. Then we want to start pet therapy sessions, and see how he likes the visits. One thing at a time. Any suggestions on the car rides? Happy New Year to one and all!
Do you think he gets Car sick??? It is funny what spooks our doodles. Is it just getting in the car??
Nemo needs to get in the car with Ned. Ned is the best car rider ever. Maybe at the next romp we can practice in the parking lot.
For Willie to pass his Canine Good Citizen and Therapy Dog tests next week.
Wow, good luck. We visit a nursing home near our home. Doodles just have a special way of spreading joy!!!
Go Willie!
Good luck Willie and Nancy!
Annie is 7 months and 48 pounds so her jumping is not cute. I keep working at it. A trainer suggested catching her paws and holding her upright until she squirms and let her down. They definitely don't like being held in that postion. De
I have also heard of this. I will try this next. Thanks for posting.
I have resolved to stop Fozzy Bear from jumping up. The worst part of the behavior modification on this will be with my sons! They love when Fozzy stands on his hind legs and hugs them. He is about as tall as they are when he does that - so he puts his paws on thier shoulders and they are nose to nose and he gives them hugs and kisses. It is adorable, but not helpful in stopping this behavior with others.....

Any ideas how to train my sons???????
