I am always looking for good toys, but especially interactive toys that I can leave with Tyson while we are gone during the day. That means they need to be virtually indestructible, or at least last a long time without getting destroyed. The Kong toys work well because we can get the larger sizes or harder toys, plus I can put treats in them so he can play with them for a while. I have this one treat-dispensing ball that is great, because it's pretty hard to get the treats out so it keeps Tyson entertained forever, but I don't think it would last if we left it with him by himself, since it is too easily destroyed.
I'm wondering if there are any other good toys out there that anyone can recommend as being good to keep dogs occupied when by themselves, and also not easily ripped apart or eaten!
Try a West Paw TUX. A customer of mine puts pumpkin puree in it, then freezes it and says her dogs love it. You can also put 3 med sized biscuits in a TUX. Or they're just fun to play with because they bounce funny! The TUX is somewhat flexible, but tough. They are strong and durable, but not indestructible.
Truthfully, there is no such thing as an indestructible dog toy.
