Completely off topic, but who has kids that left for school today? Let's see pictures!

It's a big year for me. My "baby" started first grade today and now both kids will be gone all day. I'm not sure how I feel about this. He is so excited, but my house is so quiet.... I miss them, but know I should be enjoying myself.


My kids are 4 years apart in age. I think he'll be taller than her by next year!


My "baby" off to all day 1st grade.


"OK fine, I'll smile, but I'd still rather stay home with the dogs! Besides, I'm 10 and I know everything."

That was a tough year for me too.......I cried hard:( This year is hard because it is my DD last year of middle School and my DS last year of Elemntary :(

I have a 4th grader and 5th grader. I have been teasing the 4th grader that Charlie and I were going to school and sit with her. The 5th grader found that funny, however this moring the 4th grader was quick to dump me at the door of her class. I thought for a minute about sitting with the 5th grader but wasn't sure I was up to 5th grade yet:)

Help! how do I put my pictures in??? ( this is the reason I can't go to 5th grade yet)

I use photo bucket. www.photobucket.com Open an account, (free & easy) then just follow the steps to upload your pictures to Photo bucket. Once they're uploaded, copy the HTML code and paste it in the doodle kisses reply box. It sounds harder than it is. Oh also, you'll want to make them smaller before you post them to doodle kisses or else they'll be HUGE. Good luck!

LOL, April, I didn't see your reply when I replied. & I'm one of the guilty ones with my pics so big! I used to have a program to downsize my pics on the old computer, but I don't have it now. :-(

Hi Ann! Just above the reply box you'll see, over on the right, a little box with a picture in it. Click on that little pic and it will allow you to browse your computer and choose a picture (or two or more) to attach.

Well that's much easier than what I told her!!! I'm used to using photo bucket for the other forums, so have just continued to use it here.

I have one starting middle school today... He wanted me to walk down to the bus stop with him and it broke my heart to tell him "no". But all of the other moms told me I'd better not or the high school kids would make fun of him. He left the house at 6:45 and I can't pick him up until 5:30 after football practice. I'm surprised at how hard today has been for me! Send good Karma.....

Last week was my hard week! On Monday, our last of the "big kids" started his freshman year of college (away from home), our oldest "little" one started kindergarten, and our middle little one started preschool. I'll be a blubbering mess when all three of our little ones are in school all day! (I think that since we've done this before, I know all too well how quickly these years will fly by, . . .)

OH MY GOSH! It doesn't get any cuter than that!!! The girls are DARLING!

Your son is a man! Do you stop by college every once in a while to beat the girls off? :o) I can't imagine my little boy being so grown, but I know it will happen....and too fast....
