Guess I'm full of questions - the 3rd in as many days! My husband wants an easier way to remove the tags from Webster's collar. We are changing his collar for different purposes. Both my DH and I have some arthritis and other issues with our fingers. He thought he saw something on the Stunt Puppy site but now we can't find it again. Does anyone have an easy way to move tags from collar to collar?

I would love to hear the answer to this also. I have a terrible time with those rings commonly used.
This might work! Haven't used it but looks like it would.

This looks great and I am waiting for mine now! This way it doesn't matter how wide the collar is!
I have these for all three of my dogs.Easy to use and I've had them since August.
I got some tag device that was posted here a while back but they broke open.(Not like the ones listed above which look good.) That left a ring Just big enough to slip over the collar itself and that's what I'm doing for now. So I'd suggest using a split ring just big enough to go over all the collars but the pet tags were terrible and it was fortunate I found the tags after they broke. Also, I use pinch collars and could not open and close the rings with my arthritic hands. I got special ones at Leashes By design that are great Easy open-close but no accidental opening. Also, I bought stainless collars that don't discolor the fur. The owner can make anything you specify and she is very nice.
When I click on this link, I am just getting the heading page and no tags. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!
I think maybe they no longer sell them--good. They were little metal gizmos that had a clip that attached to the ring on the collar, which either opened when the dogs played or broke off.
Go to your local hardware store and look at the swivel hooks. I use one like the Lobster Claw Swivel hook I didn't want anything that could catch on the carpet.

I've also used this one

I loved it but it stained Gus' fur.
Stainless steel, if you can find what you want made of it. won't stain.
Thanks for asking this question. I wish I had read it earlier. We just went to Home Depot looking for small S hooks, but the ideas posted are much better.
Thanks everyone for some great suggestions!
