Chewie may have eaten some Nasonex spray ??

Today while my DH and son were home on Spring Break, Chewie got my sons Nasonex spray and chewed it up.  If you squeeze the bottle it does leak out.  My DH is not sure how long Chewie had it.  He acting completely fine and ate and went to the bathroom with out any problems.  Should I be worried ???

This ingredient is a steroid and I would think if he's had no immediate effects he should be OK with one oral dose.

Minor Nasonex problems in humans show up as sores in the nose but usually after long term use. If he didn't drink the whole bottle I wouldn't worry. I would probably call the vet and just pass the situation by them in case there was something you should look for. There isn't any information I can find on drinking a nasal steroid preparation.

Oh No, Laura! That Chewie....I know it is a steroid. My son uses it too... How 'bout calling the pharmacy. I find that they usually have more information about drugs and interactions/reactions. Maybe a CVS or Walgreens 24 hour store. Good luck! Sorry I didn't see this earlier. I say I had just one of those crazy days, but your day seems more crazy than mine wa! Hope all is well!!!

Talked to the Vet and they said he should be fine. He did not get enough to cause any problems. Thanks for the help again !!!
