Not sure what you mean.
Bah, humbug! I think I figured out what you meant.
Took ya' long enough!!!! ha ha
I still think ISO is a good assignment. Look at my mistake--I have been thinking that only light affected ISO and have have been happily trogging along with my ISO at 100 in bright light without ever taking shutter speed or other factors into account; all the while not understanding why my action shots were soft. I thought it was a problem in my custom settings or my image stabilization . . . what a lesson learned for me. I would recommend spending the month understanding ISO AND how it "works" with other settings: shutter speed, aperture, etc . . .
I second that. What a pleasure to be able to change ISO without changing film. It is true that learning each bell and whistle for a month will mean I have to bequeath this group to someone :)
Okay, I'll figure out an ISO assignment for April :)
Carry on with the action shots and shutter speed, gang - great pics so far this month! With the weather warming up it's nice to see Doods in action!

I forgot to record the shutter speeds.

If you right click on the photo on your computer the information should come up under properties. Good examples!
Thought I would post this here, since it seems like everyone visits this discussion the most during the course of a month....I am doing some "spring cleaning" of my gear, and selling two really great lenses.
The first is the Tamron AF 18-250mm F/3.5-6.3 Di-II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Zoom Lens for NIKON DSLR
It's barely used, and comes with both end caps, hood, and a 62mm circular polarized filter (great for outdoors). The lens was ALWAYS used with a filter attached, no scratches at all - glass is pristine. It works great - I just find that I don't pull it out of the bag often enough to justify keeping it.
It's going for $329.00 new on Amazon - I'm asking $280.00 OBO.

This one is an even better deal :)
Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED IF AF-S VR Zoom Nikkor Lens for Nikon DSLR
Less than a year old - I just got the f/2.8 70-200 so I just don't need this one anymore. It comes with both end caps, hood, bag, original box, & 67mm UV filter. It was ALWAYS used with the filter attached, the glass is perfect. This was my favorite lens - it's great for outdoors, action, etc. Super great sharp focus, it worked well on both my Nikon D60 and now my Nikon D300s. The VR is awesome - no blur even at 300mm.
New it was $545.00 on Amazon, I'm asking $480.00.

OK, action shots are like potato chips, I cannot pick just one or two :)

Two dobies from the dog park this weekend, I couldn't resist, they are soooo beautiful. You can see the movement in their feet.

S1/250 F10 ISO 200

Bud and Pink, look at them fly.....

S1/320 F5 ISO 1600

I love how the focus is on Pink and Kona is just a blurrrrrr

My favorite winter shot of the cubs

S1/800 F7.1 ISO200

I wish I would have been at ground level for this one because they are both in the air.

S1/1000 F 4.5 ISO400

She deserves that!

S1/1000 F4 ISO 400

S1/1250 F4.5 ISO400
