Update on Bear
I MUST share with all of you about Bear's recent grooming experience :) It was an EXCELLENT experience. I am not sure if many of you are familiar with the Barkley Hotel & Spa..........this is where I decided to take Bear, since I did not receive any response from some of the Mobile Dog Groomers.
About 20 minutes after I had dropped off the Barkley I received a phone call from the groomer. She asked how I would like to have Bear groomed. I then asked how he was doing.......this is when I found out how he really was..............she said, "I do not know where you have taken him the last time, but he is scared to death being groomed". We then discussed what was going on with him. She said he was urinating all over the floor and when they let him run around the grooming area, he would just sit in the corner and shake. After a while the groomer said he started to warm up.........she said he was fine. She said this was not the only doodle she has encountered who had this issue about groomers and they went to Petsmart.
Karen was a GREAT and PATIENT groomer with Bear. This time when he got home he was himself, not like when he was after Petsmart. We then scheduled another appointment at the end of August whether he needed a cut or not, so she could work with him and ease his anxiety.

Ranger is at the Barkley right now and will get groomed tomorrow, so we'll see!

Bear has been back several times after I had posted this and I am VERY happy with them......still :) I hope you like the way Ranger comes out. Let me know how things work out :)
