Okay, so I just got home from work and started to clean before dinner, and as I cleaned..... I noticed that I have added another "routine" cleaning chore to my weekly cleaning.... I have to go around all of my bedroom doors and scrub the door jams and and all the edge of the doors of my upstairs rooms to clean off "smudge" about knee high.  (anyone else have these 'mysterious smudges"??? I giggle because as I clean it I can picture a little nose going around trying to uh-hem "investigate" what's behind those closed doors.  Now if only I can giggle about the dust that accumulates, I'd be alright!

I can relate! We have glass patio doors and a TV at "nose" level which both mysteriously have smudges on them daily. Kind of funny :).
Our house has lots of french doors and every pane of glass in our house on both outside and inside have nose prints at knee high....lol. I keep saying "Marlow, you can see without putting your nose on the glass!" but he doesn't listen. If only I could teach him how to clean the windows!
I wish Phoebe would learn that we use our EYES to see, not our noses. I carry a towel and spray cleaner on my hip--practically!--in order to keep up with the smudges. Interestingly, I would not have purchased the gorgeous round glass and polished nickel coffee table had I know we would be getting our little doodle!
I was sooo curious what the noun 'Nose Rubbers' was!  What kind of rubber toy or contraption IS THIS?

LOL

But now that I know what you're talkin' about...I KNOW what you're talkin' about.  Icky brown smudges that I forget about until company comes over!
YEP! 'DEM the ONES!!! LOL... And... I do also have those window smudges (mentioned) too... right on the big bow windows that face the front of the house too!
(Notice ~ I'm on here rather than cleaning...)
I have learned to "space them out". There was a "pre Doodle" time when I used to worry about my doors (and sometimes even my windows). I was the "Windex Queen" back then. No more...and now's the time when I really NEED to be the "Windex Queen". I seem to have lost my enthusiasm for sparkling glass. I don't even notice it. I no longer feel any sense of accomplishment when I've got the windows and doors so you can actually see through them without squinting. The Doodles have taken me over. They've got me thinking like they do. When I see those smudges on the patio doors I think it's "cute". Sometimes I can actually see little "nose imprints"...now you know it doesn't get any cuter than that, right.
Guess the "sparkle" in those sweet eyes is more satisfying to the soul!
YES! JANE!!! I'm with YOU!
....hmmmm....could those smudges come from the same place crop circles come from????
This is the doodle rendition of "Starry Night"

very artsy!
You could put some peanut butter on the windows and the doodles will lick them clean =))
