Golden Doodles and Water

I was wondering if everybody's doodles sit, lay, paw, jump into little water puddles.  

If i am cleaning something in the bath tub Java (my doodle) looks at me with the CUTEST puppy look, and then just jumps into the tub.  Is that normal??

Well, this looks like my dog, just lookin at you while he is sitting in the puddle. we have one water dish outside and one inside, and with the one out side Java will stand in/ paw at it while he is drinking.=

Mm Molly is worse than that in the spring and summer if there is morning dew on the grass from overnight I can let her out and she comes in looking like she stood in the shower for 10 minutes. I don't know how she does it, I joke around and tell everyone that she must roll from one end of our yard to the other several times. Then we have a choc. lab who is suppose to like the water and if he gets a rain drop on him he thinks he's going to melt....

YES!! Lizzie will find any water around, and makes her own mud from her water bucket. If I don't close the bathroom door during shower time, she jumps in! She loves the hose, swimming, and jumping off the boat in the summertime. As far as teaching her to swim, she was about 4.5 to 5 months old last summer when we first took her to a pool and to a lake. Didn't need to teach her anything, she LOVED it!

We didn't have to teach Darby to swim. She jumped into our pool last summer when she was 3 months old and swam until we pulled her out. Then she jumped in again. She is water-crazy!

Peri loves water - will jump in the bathtub and put her head under the facet during a bath. Would probably jump in the shower with me if I let her. She run straight into sprinklers, puddles, you name it. She loves the creek, but she has not been in water deep enough to actually swim. Some doods aren't as interested in water. We were at our doodle romp this weekend and while most of the doods went straight for the creek, some preferred to stay dry! Who knows. ..but just look at their paws - the webbing is pretty serious - of course many of them like water! They were born for it!

Well, i think so far ALL golden doodles LOVE WATER!!!!! lol
