Do your doodles change personalities at the door?
Lizzie and Marley have TONS of toys in the house, chew toys, rope toys, and even lots of stuffed toys. They play all the time and the toys are fine.  We have stuffed toys that have been around since Lizzie was 8 weeks old!  They both know that they have to drop toys at the door.  Inside toys stay inside, outside toys stay outside.

Yet they play differently outside. If, by chance, an inside toy makes it to the backyard it will be shredded and destuffed almost immediately! It has snowed stuffing in my backyard multiple times lately!  (they're sneaky doodles) They have gotten a hold of a hat and a shoe from our garage and those were destroyed also!  But they are left unattended in the house all the time and nothing gets destroyed.

I just think it is odd that they are destructive in the yard and not inside.  Don't get me wrong, I'm happy they are so good inside.   Have any of you all noticed these differences though?

Nope, my two are equal opportunity "shredders and destroyers" - they don't care whether they're inside or outside. It's their favorite "sport".
Haha, quite a sport it is. I swear, the last casualty looks like it exploded, I can only find little itty-bitty pieces in the yard. It was a large loofa-dog. Oh well!
My two are different inside and out, but the difference is that outside they don't play with toys! No balls, nothing. Lucy will play fetch for a little while in the house, but not outside. Sophie won't play fetch either place (she will however steel what Lucy is fetching and run away with it). I think for mine there is just too much to explore outside to be bothered with toys.
Molly ios the same way she has inside and outside toys and is suppose to leave the inside ones at the door before she goes outside and yesterday morning my husband said after breakfast that it snowed in our backyard and there it was one of her inside toys she had snuck out destuffed all over the backyard. This toy has lived inside for about 1 1/2 years and had a good life it retired to a destuffed outside toy yesterday!! Maybe they think all rules are off when they are outside. She also dug in the flower bed yesterday a nice big hole that she would almost fit in..she hasn't dug anything for a long time. Hopefully it's not going to be an ongoing habit again this year, I'm planning on getting and planting all of our flowers on Wednesday provided we don't get storms w hail to shred them. It's like she leaves stuff alone for quite a while and then in a blink of an eye it's a mess and she is sitting there like an innocent Doodle.
That is so funny that they are exactly the same! They must be related ;-) There are some new holes popping up in my backyard too, but I'm not sure who is the culprit. I rent and I DON"T garden, so I'm not too worried about it. My yard has more dandelions than grass anyway.
