ANNOUNCING Our Doodle Kisses 2009 Calendars!!!

Due to popular demand Doodle Kisses will put together not one, but TWO 2009 Calendars! And your doodle(s) has a chance to be in it!

We will have two calendar options to meet different preferences:
1) A calendar with ONE large beautiful photo per month
2) A calendar with multiple beautiful photos per month

So if you are interested in having your doodle(s) included in either...here's what you have to do:
1) UPLOAD your photo to the main site photo page if you don't have it uploaded already
2) Tag your BEST photo(s) with the word calendar--and be sure it is spelled exactly how I spell it or the search won't find your photo (the deadline for this part is over as of Oct 9, 9pm PST)

As photos are tagged I will make a few slide shows including those photos and I will give you the links to view them. they will be viewable by going to the "Photos" section of the site (see tabs at the top) and doing a search for the word calendar. We'll even use them for our front slide shows to give you a chance to see them and ponder them. When we narrow down the choices we'll put them into a slide show. (Oct 10 update--they have been compiled into 10 albums--see main forum page for details).

VOTE for your favorites by rating them highly. The multi-photo calendar inclusions will be chosen BASED on guidance by the ratings...but it won't be straight from the ratings because we want to be sure no ONE dog dominates the calendar.

If you plan to TAKE some new photos to submit for the calendars...be sure that you also have them saved as high resolution files on your computer because the single-photo-per-month calendar demands high resolution photos.

Doodle Kisses loves doodles, therefore we believe in responsible dog ownership as well as the importance of rescuing/rehoming homeless doodles. To this end we will donate 25% of all our profits to IDOG's rescue/rehome program.

Adina: Sorry to be so uninformed, but how does one tag a photo? I would like to submit a few of Shawnee's pictures for the calendar but don't know how to tag them with the word "calendar". Sue

How exactly to we vote?

You vote by going to the Photos section (see Photos tab above) then putting in the word calendar in the search function and give a high rating to the photos you think would be wonderful for a calendar. Do vote for all the ones you absolutely love. To rate the photo notice that under the photo you can give it 1-5 stars based on how much you like it.
