Do your friends and family think you are just a little bit crazy when you call yourself Mom and Dad to your doodle? They are our babies after all. What other option is there?

I love it....I used to do that all the time when the kids were little.

Everyone thinks we are crazy. Prime example: Yesterday I jumped into the middle of our bed. Marley jumped up and curled up on my left side. Lizzie jumped up and curled up on my right side with her head on dbf's pillow. Presley (cat) jumped up and curled up by my shoulder. This all happened immediately. My response: "Honey, you're going to have to sleep on the couch, no room for Daddy here!" hahaha.

OH and my parents and DBF's parents are fully aware that instead of grandchildren, they have "granddoodles!" My parents are paying for a dog house to be built for their grandoodles this summer. DBF's parents have a photo collage in their house with the children and related grandchildren. They have joked many times of putting pictures of Lizzie and Marley next to his picture!

They are our fur-kids!! My Mum refers to them as her grandpuppies and has pictures of them on her office wall!

Love the photo!! We call ourselves Mommy and Daddy but none of my friends or family are brave enough to tell us they think we are crazy. Actually now that I think about it, they all do it too!!

We think he is beautiful too, but we are more than a little biased. I get accused of taking more pictures of Quincy than I ever did of my son, but then Quincy is a lot more easily bribed. :)
