Kay, sounds and looks like fun. My fear would be Astro would never want to go home. Smile. Looks great!
Hey,
That's about right. When I went with Misha to the one in the Berkshires, she went on strike. She was supposed to stay in the cabin at mealtimes, but she decided to sit on a hill overlooking the cabin and wouldn't come when called. She didn't want to miss anything!!! At one point she gave me the defiant doodle eye and when I told her to come, looked at me, looked at the lake, looked at me, then ran as fast as she could to the lake and jumped in. I was laughing so hard that I just jumped in after her and we swam a bit then she was ready for a rest! We had the best best time ever!! ThanksKay
This really does sound like a lot of fun. Timbow would want to stay there along with Astro. :)
Well, come on to Camp Unleashed and we will have a big doodle party!!! Kay
This sounds wonderful. I would love to get more information. Thank you!
Hey,
First go to the website...CampUnleashed.com There is a phone number there of the overall director, Annie Brody. You can also ask me any questions. On the web site you'll see a video of Camp Unleashed from the Rachel Ray Show, and there have been some articles in Bark and a few other magazines. The staff for the Asheville camp is also on the Asheville web site and you'll see how fabulous they are when you read their bios. Are there any specific things I could tell you other than it's So Much Fun!!! Kay
Wow this sounds like great fun. I saw the mention of accommodations for 2 people and 1 dog, but what about 2 people and multiple dogs (3 or more)? I think my pack would love it and Asheville is not that bad of a drive from Atlanta.
Hey, each person can bring two dogs...so you could have two people in a cabin and four dogs...or if you came with a friend who had one dog and was willing to be responsible for one of your dogs, then you could bring all three. In an unleashed environment, it is hard to overlook and see to more than two dogs at a time!! I really hope that you can come. The camp is going to be fabulous. The cabins are quite big so two people and three or four dogs would have plenty of space. Any more questions??? Thanks,Kay
My secretary at work was telling me about these new camps. Your website looks great - I would love to spend a weekend doing this - may have to talk to husband!
Yes, talk away. Many people come with spouse or a friend or alone. It's so easy to meet great people! I so hope you can come. I have never had so much fun with Misha in my life!! Kay
