Places that are "doodle" friendly ~ stores, restaurants, etc...... Let's make a list!

Recently I found out that there are places that you can take your doodle that I never would have expected.  Awhile back we were at Cabela's in West Virginia and they have a boarding/doggie daycare for customers that are shopping.  Just a few weeks ago we were out of town and going to Bass Pro Shops in Toledo, Ohio I really didn't want to leave Hunter in our camper while we were gone but I get nervous leaving her in the car that someone would steal her.  I called Bass Pro and asked if maybe they had the same kennel area like Cabela's and I was shocked that they allowed dogs to shop with you in the store.  WOW  it was a great shopping trip, I wasn't board out of my mind walking around with my husband looking at camping, hunting and whatever else.  I got to walk Hunter around :-)

All of this got me thinking there have to be many more stores and even restaurants that allow dogs to come in.  So how about we make a list of any local or national store, etc.  that allows to bring our doodles in.

I've been able to take my dogs into Lowes and Home Depot here in California with no issues. Also, El Dorado Town Center and Old Placerville sets out water bowls and has lots of outdoor eating areas.
In Chattanooga, all downtown and Northshore restaurants with outdoor seating allow pets. Several local stores in the Northshore area welcome dogs inside. One local restaurant, Good Dog (specializes in hot dogs) leaves a water bowl at the door where they have a couple of chairs on the sidewalk. Another new shopping area in the Northshore allow dogs inside their shops - RockCreek Outfitters, New Moon Gallery, and Trek Bicycles. Our Greenlife Grocery welcomes dogs in their very large outdoor eating area. Our DOGood Chattanooga group will be having our first Yappy Hour at Greenlife in May.

Besides the pet stores here, we can also take Webster to Lowe's - not Home Depot. My bank window tellers always give him a biscuit (which he now expects every time). I've never tried taking him inside.

The main goal of our DOGood group now is to get our beautiful pedestrian bridge changed to pet friendly. It has been a huge challenge. Pigeons pooping on the bridge - they don't mind. But responsible dog owners cannot walk across the bridge with their canine family members.
Just got back from the Dewey Beach Doodle Romp. Anyone in the Lewes, Rehoboth, Bethany, Dewey area looking for a place to stay, check out the Lazy L B&B. It was awesome & everything centers around the doggies. Great dog friendly place.
The outdoor Large Patio at Boomer Jacks restaurants in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area allow dogs also Coal Vines in Southlake on (I believe Saturdays) in the outdoor dining area (small area). Right now all locations of IFratelli's pizza is offering a free large cheese pizza on Wednesdays in April (only 1 Wednesday left) if you bring your dog in. It's called Smooch your pooch! Our local Home Depot and Lowe's do also. I would never think to take her into a dept. store. I got mixed messages at Walgreens. One employee said yes if she stayed in the cart, then when I had her in the cart I was told by a different employee she wasn't allowed in the store. I left and haven't tried to take her in again. Would love it if you were able to make a list as someone else suggested.
In Ontario...all of our banks allow dogs in, Lululemon is dog friendly (they even have treats and water at the front door), our Home Depot does not allow doodles in but Life is Good does.
Asheville, NC area is an extremely dog friendly town. All Home Depots and some Lowes. There are many restaurants with outdoor seating and most allow dogs. Also, Ace Hardware and Mast General. Even the nearby DMV!
Hey - I have two Goldendoodles - Jackson and Ella - we should get together - where do you live?? I didn't know they could go to Home Depot. They are allowed at Diamond Brand also
All stores, even the coffee shops in downtown Frisco, CO are dog friendly. Even the Chiropractor had dogs walking around inside! A great doodle friendly vacation is skiing at copper mountain, where most of the condos let you bring them. You can even walk around the base of the mountain with the dogs unleashed, and shop in the evenings in Frisco with your fido. :)
Don't forget car dealerships and auto service shops. Many of them are dog friendly. Jackdoodle is welcomed at the Lexus dealer and the Goodyear service store here in my area.
I had no idea dogs were allowed in department stores like Kohl's, Macy's, Nordstrom, Barnes & Noble, etc. I wonder if that's on a regional or store-by-store basis. I'm in all of those stores quite often and have never seen any dogs, even tiny ones that would fit in someone's purse.
In Redlands, CA the Redlands Community Bank is very dog friendly and even hands me dog treats to share with my dog!
Last Chance Cheese in Tannersville, NY allows dogs...they even have their own doggie menu!
The people food there is FANTASTIC - I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Catskills!
The Jeep and Mercedes dealerships in Chapel Hill and Cary allow dogs. In fact, the Jeep dealership thanked me for providing entertainment for the people waiting for their cars to be serviced...they provided the popcorn! The Tire King is also dog friendly.
