Mousse, my 10 week old goldendoodle, doesn't seem to like any of his chew toys.  I've tried Nylabones, bully sticks, rubber toys, kongs, but he isn't interested.  Is he just too young?  The only thing he seems to want are socks and shoes :)  Anyone else have a puppy like this?

What do you stuff the kong with?
Truthfully mine didn't like kongs either...unless they had treats in them.  But I fed him out of kongs for many weeks.  Maybe one of those crinkly puppy toys or some antlers!
I've tried peanut butter, which he doesn't even lick, and I've put some dry food in there, which he'll roll it around to get the food out, but never chew on the actual toy. He seems to only like stuffed animal type toys and the rope toys, but not to chew, just to carry around and shake. I read about antlers, I'll have to try them. Maybe because he's not teething yet?
My puppy Max (he is 5 months now) didn't like any of the toys when he was younger either. He would chew on socks and shoes and pretty much anything that didn't belong to him.... We introduced bully sticks and that was a relief as he would be entertained by those for hours... Now I don't get them anymore because he eats them really fast and they are kinda of expensive. About a month or so ago he started chewing on all of his toys and now I have had to replace most of them because he is chewing them to pieces. I think this is mostly due to the fact that he is teething. I do still give him a bully stick every once in awhile and he is a "ball dog" (more retriever than poodle) so as long as he has like 5 balls around he will carry them around pretty much all day and wait for someone to play fetch with him. I never tried the kong, but that seems to work for a lot of dogs. Good luck!!
We got Ted a few soft toys to chew too, some of them have a hard bit inside and when he was Mousse's age these were the ones he loved best. In the evening he still chews the corners of a cushion he has and a teddy bears ears. (now 20 weeks)

He moved on to nylabones and kongs at about 15 weeks and loves the biggest puppy one with big knuckles

In the early days, we were very quick to swap a toy for his sock or shoe and he has very good chewing habits for now ( he does find it hard to resist a laundry basket of washing though)
Try stuffed animals from the Goodwill store. Just make sure they have the stuffing and not the beeding stuffing. I have a goldendoodle who will be 2 in August and she loves her stuffed animals, as well as socks!!!! Never had a problem with her chewing up shoes, but she still does love getting our socks. good luck....marci @ lila
Mousse is soooo cute!! Charlie did the same thing when she was a little puppy. I lost pair of my favorite shoes to chew damage!!
She liked the cloth chew toy with crinkly stuff in it, that can be also wet and frozen. She can crunch on the crinkles or ice. She also had a favorite stuffed animal she sucked on....

Malu prefers ropes and small cat toys with balls or jingly things inside, or crinkly paper. He also likes sisal rope that is found on cat scratch posts, but I had a roll of it that I let him chew on pieces of it. He likes soft toys with squeakers and really none of the hard chew toys. All dogs usually show a toy preference, so no worries, Mousse is normal! Heehee.
