New idea for submitting photos

I think it would be helpful if we submitted photos in this group the way we do for Adina's front page slideshows.  I was thinking we could give everyone 3 weeks to work on their photos and set a deadline for Sunday of the last full week in a month to tag your photo(s).  I think it's still a good idea to submit rough drafts through discussions so you can get some good feedback and tweak the image before the final submission.  If people think this would be a good idea, I can put together the slide show as long as everyone tags their photos.  We could each submit up to 2 of our favorite photos and I think it would be really fun to view them in a slide show.  Any takers?  I was thinking the deadline could be May 23rd for the black and white theme.

I agree with doing both. The way we submit them now is great for feedback and suggestions. But adding a slideshow at the end of the assignment would be a great addition--and a fun addition!!

That's a great idea, but I'm not sure you CAN collect photos into an album unless you have uploaded them. Have you tried? I think it's a super power only I have... :-/ Well unless you create the album offsite--via another slide show online tool.

You could use Picasa Web.... If you start an album it will allow others to upload to it. Once the deadline passes you just copy and embed the slideshow where ever you want. It might even add the pictures automatically to the slide show once the album is created and new photos are added. I post the slideshows all the time, but haven't really worked with other's uploading to my albums.
