Someone suggested this toy on DK. They're called Crunchy Critters. It's an animal that you put an empty water bottle inside, and it makes a crunching noise. Here are some pictures and a link:

I made a homemade cheap version by putting a plastic bottle in an old sock and tying the end of the sock in a knot. It works great, Muppet loves it. You can also keep it interesting by putting various things in the empty bottle, such as treats that make a rattling noise and smell good (leave the lid off the bottle so the smell can go through the fabric). It also makes a great water toy if you put the lid on the bottle first before sliding it in the sock because it will float. Just some ideas for those who need to save money.

Okay - I am glad I just reread this because I made one for Peri yesterday and did not put anything inside the h20 bottle. Didn't make enough noise to entice her. She smelled it twice and turned her nose up at it! I will add some treats or something to make some rattling noises.
Keep the cheap toys coming...I am so sick of spending $ of toys she destroys.
