Does your doodle know how to open doors? If so, how?
Some doors in my house don't really lock into place when you shut them. Sherlock and Noah have figured this out and can open them. Sherlock jumps up and pushes his 11lb body against the door to open it. For the longest time, Noah couldn't figure out how to open a door. But now he pushes them open with his nose!
Mali learned how to open doors in her "trick class" haha. Wasn't too funny though when 2 days in a row she opened the pantry doors and got the bag of sugar out!
Mine both do this just like Noah, but only if I haven't closed the door so it latches. They haven't quite mastered opening doors that are latched and/or locked fortunately or we'd all be in trouble. No places are off limits however if I haven't closed the door firmly. I can't remember the last time I went to the bathroom or took a shower by myself. These doodles are more like apendages than pets but wouldn't trade them for anything!
Oh yes! DH wouldn't believe me and the kids until he saw it himself... we too have some of those doors that don't quite lock into place, and Tori knows which ones they are too. Her new 'trick' is pushing open the laundry area doors. Partially our fault because we don't push them all the way closed tightly. Her new thing she likes is the garbage in the laundry area - she's too smart for her own good. I think SHE'S training US!
We have double doors into our bathroom that do not lock. My gang knows if the hit a door hard enough with their paws it will pop open. Definitely no privacy at our house; it is worse than living with a toddler.
