Kensington has a open leash dog park or There is an open meadow by the college in Middletown.

I heard Granby has one which might be good since it is further north..

Napa and I would love a doodle romp. I'm finished with school for the summer, so I've got pretty much free availability. I just moved back here a year ago, but haven't done much searching in terms of dog parks, etc. So, I can't be of much help there. Sorry.

Personally, I'd love to find a place with a beach. Napa loves the water!

I'm done for the summer too, so count Tully and me in! Could we maybe do it during the week if possible, as so many of the parks get really crowded on weekends? I'll try to come up with a list of possible places. What month are we thinking?

That would be great, Kathy. We're pretty open in June and July (other than around the 4th)...August doesn't work for us. A beach would be great, but I don't know of any public beaches where dogs are allowed in CT.

I work during the week but the company has been kind enough to furlough us for a few days.. around memorial day and the 4th we have extra days.

There doesn't appear to be many places in RI that are open, off leash, with a water source (bay, ocean, river, pond). But, I did find these two websites. I'm not 100% on where all of these places are, or what type of place these are. But perhaps, some of you might know a little bit more than me.

There are not many dog parks and nothing close to everyone, because we are all so far apart! I know of a nice one in North Egremont, MA, but it is just east of the NY state border and just north of the CT border, so not that close to many of you.
