LOL! I have refused to read the Twilight series but I am very tempted! I have seen the movies - thanks to my 11 year old daughter - and I think the books would be great..... hhmmm maybe I will have to start them.

I think I have a case of RAD(Reading Attention Disorder). I seem to have four books that I have started and not one that is holding my attention. They are Jodi Picoult, Keeping Faith... John Irving, The Fourth Hand...Jeffrey Deaver, The Devil's Teardrop..and I am a few pages into Wally Lamb's The Hour I First Believed. It has been so long since I have read a book that I just didn't want to put down. The last book that I read that I'd recommend to others is The Kite Runner, Khaled Hosseini, not a book I expected to like but a friend gave it to me and I am glad she did. I also read A Thousand Splendid Suns by the same author, would recommend this one also.

I loved Khaled Hosseini's books too! Try to get into the Wally Lamb book, I just finished that one & 2 of his other books & they were also great books!

Donna, My husband always has multiple books going, but I really prefer to read one at a time - two at most. I have lots of trouble reading Jodi Picoult. My aunt sent me a whole set of her books and I slogged through the beginning of one and skipped to the end (I NEVER do that) and haven't touched the others. This book was so depressing that I just couldn't stand it and when I skipped to the end, people had died, continued with their unresolved conflicts or had unhappy results. I need to check out Deaver's book. I never remember titles so I need to check out the first pages at the book store.

Tell DH I'm with him! I have a book in my car, a book in my purse, a book next to the couch and usually a book on tape in the cd player of the car :) I hate to be without a book if I have to wait at the doctors, eat lunch by myself, or my dh has taken over the TV!!!!!
