3 Week Update!!

We finally got an update from Shelly yesterday about Anja's puppies! They are all doing well and are just starting to walk around and play with each other. Shelly said that Anja is also well and is a great Mom. We were so happy to get this news and to see a picture of all 10 puppies, hopefully you can see it. 5 more weeks to go!!

Almost ready! We have been dealing with lots of home improvement projects including a fence around the front yard for our little one. During the process we found termite damage and had to tent the house and then found a gas leak under the house. It's been an exhausting couple of months but we're glad this all happened before the puppy. I can't imagine all of this with an 8 week old puppy too! My sanity is already shot as it is!

Oh how cute Tula's puppies are! She and Anja delivered very close to each other. Congrats! The wait is killing us too. We are SO excited, can hardly stand it!

I visited the pups at Shelly's house today. I wanted to meet the dogs. I met Anja and briefly saw her pups. I got to hang longer with Suzie's pups (4 male f1b.) And I met Casey and Micah as well as Tula. I saw two of Tula's pups. They are all so cute. Good luck choosing! I won't be taking any of these pups as the timing is too soon for me....but I was tempted. :-)

That's awesome! They have such great dogs. We just LOVE Anja! Do you happen to know now many boys and girls Anja had? Shelly keeps forgetting to tell me!

If I'm remembering correctly there are 5 boys and 5 girls. She didn't want us to linger too long with that litter because they are not yet weened and Anja might get nervous. But Anja was pretty sweet. They were all adorable!!! There was one really little runt. I think it was a boy...not sure. She said they took special care with that one when it was born. ANd they didn't know if he'd make it. But he was lively and healthy today. There were two that were a little darker: a boy and a girl. The girl was the darkest. All the others look very similar...

I've got a pretty good memory.....but I may have gotten that wrong. I was more focused on the other pups because I could play with them.

That makes sense. Don't worry, I won't hold you to anything! :) But it's still nice to have some idea of how many boys and girls.

If I got it right and everyone else want girls (which is common)....then you would have first pick of the boys! :-)
