This gorgeous Poodle boy will be euthanized on Sunday, Father's Day if we cannot find him a foster home. His Doodle cell mate will be going to Foster Home tomorrow.

He is in Montreal, Canada.

Do you know anything about the poodle. Is it house trained, etc?
F - the posting didn't say a word about him. The shelter wouldn't know (or care) but he is now safe - I assume he will go into a foster home. I don't know which rescue took him but as long as he is safe I will sleep tonight!

When I take in a foster, I assume they are not. I treat them as they if they have never had any training so there are no bad surprises. I usually am pleasantly surprised! The fosters I personally have had are housebroken (as long as I pay attention) but the leash training is usually the only issue I have to work on.
Thanks Adrianne, I'm very glad he is now safe.
This may be a dumb question, but could the foster family who had the doodle now take the poodle? I keep hoping to read that the poodle is adopted.
Just got the word - POODLE IS SAFE!!!!!!! not sure where he went but he is safe!!!!
That is so AWESOME! Thanks for letting us know, Adrianne.
I'm glad that it worked out!
Thank you all for caring!
Wendy, thank you for letting me now IDOG got the doodle.
Whoever took the poodle - thank you too!
I am going to sleep!
I am so happy the poodle is safe. I have been feeling helpless about both the doodle and poodle....thank God they are both out of danger.

Thank you Adrianne for all of your work and for keeping us informed.
Truly is my pleasure! My heart is so much lighter knowing both a safe!
I have not been on DK in awhile and am very surprised that some one would be attacked like this for trying to rescue any dog, no matter the breed. I am very happy to hear that both dogs are safe and will hopefully be in or headed to their forever homes shortly. Can't we use all this energy to save dogs, instead of looking for ways to put each other down? So many more lives would be saved. Adrianne works hard to rescue dogs and I appreciate her efforts. Like my mother used to say, if you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
Amen
