Silly Doodle/Human Play

[Frannie & Callie]

Callie and I play a very silly game on the stairs where she runs up and stands on the landing and I come up the stairs on all fours and wrestle with her at the top. It seemed very normal/harmless to me until I was keeping a friend's elderly dog for the weekend...Callie "attacked" the dog at the top of the stairs and the "old lady" freaked out and slid back a few steps.

 

The whole thing has me curious if anyone else has a silly game they play with their doods that might make them feel slightly sheepish around non doodle-crazed folks, or that really just turned out to be a not-so-great idea.

We play "I'm gonna getchyou" too, and the zoomies chase goes on for as long as I can last! Melody gets so excited, she just bounces! She is so funny! These dogs are so quick!!!!! She runs around a trail we have in the back yard and is lightening fast.

We have a game we play with Quincy it is a variation of the gonna get you game. We have two entrances into the kitchen, one from the dining room and one from the hallway, there is also a pass through and breakfast bar between the two. We crouch down until he can't see us and he tries to creep around the corner to find us. When he pokes his head around the corner we chase him, when he gets going fast we run back around and catch him the other way while he tries to put on the brakes and change directions. Sometimes he tries to peek over the breakfast bar to see which way we are coming. We do this until one of us tires of it. It is usually me. This game doesn't do much for my hardwood floors when Quincy is trying to get some traction to get turned around but we have fun.
