Looking for Cage Free Boarding in Bay Area

Hi,

We just moved to San Francisco and are looking for a place to board our two goldendoodles that offers cage free boarding.  They have previously been placed with a sitter in her own home with her other 2 dogs and had free run of the house and large fenced backyard.  Does anyone here know of a place that offers something like this that they would feel comfortable leaving their doodles there?  We would be willing to travel to the right place.  We do not need to board them until November, but are starting our search now.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you very much!

Welcome to SF!
Mochi goes to Planet Pooch when we travel, it's a cage free pet daycare, they also offer sleepover that one of their staff sleep with doggies at night. They will evaluate your dogs and see vaccine records before your dogs board. You can also find them on facebook page to see more pictures.
Sandi (Sandi and Kia) sends Kia to Planet Pooch at least once a week, you could contact her and see her experiences with Planet Pooch.

There are also many other pet boardings in SF area if you search on yelp. Some of them got really good reviews!

Not from CA, Pam, but since Planet Pooch does daycare, I suggest sending your doods there a few times prior to leaving town. Peri goes to daycare at least once a week and when we go out of town (and my family cannot keep her), we leave her at daycare for boarding and she has a BLAST with her friends!
