Who is NOT Getting our Sunday Emails that WANTS to get them?

I'm getting occasional reports from various members that they are NOT receiving the Sunday email updates I send out.  Please review the following info and if you've already checked and verified all these things and you still aren't getting the email...respond here please!

NOT GETTING OUR WEEKLY UPDATE MESSAGES IN YOUR E-MAIL?
If you haven't been getting the Sunday updates from doodlekisses in your
normal email inbox, be sure to add the following addresses to your
e-mail address book so that fun news and updates don't end up in your
spam folder:
[e-mail] and [e-mail]
Also click on "settings" (toward the top of the right column of any page
here on DK) and then click email on the settings page. From the email
settings page you can adjust what notifications you receive including
the all-important-do-not-miss emails to all members :-)


Also in your response let me know if you know WHERE to look for info on our next photo theme...it's in the same place on the front page every day (with minor exceptions)...where is it?

I have not been getting the emails....I do know and check each week for the photo themes! Have checked email settings, spam, etc.....no emails!

Okay, it is Sunday and 9:46 pacific time and I have not gotten an e-mail. Have you sent one this Sunday yet? If not, then I didn't miss it and if you did then, well, I did. I have checked all of your suggested places. I know that I got last Sunday's notice and the one I missed from you earlier that I reported, perhaps it was deleted by mistake by me or with the weird internet I have been getting, who knows.
Ned and Clancy want to be rich and famous - well famous by getting their pictures in the slide show anyway.

Odd isnt' it? Periodically I don't get it and I always look for it so..... I think my kids, who are grown and gone but think I am too doodle obsessed, just wave a cell phone or something and 'catch' the e-mail in mid air! Yup, it is their fault. That is my story and I am sticking to it!

Isn't it great to have someone to blame. Often things around here are the doodle's fault, and sometimes it's even true!

It is really weird, most of the times I do get the email but sometimes I don't get it. Received the last one though, but not the one before. Nothing in spam either.

I got yesterday's! Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't. And they are not in the Spam folder. Maybe I won't have the issue again??

Sometimes I get it and sometimes I do not. Yes, I know where to find the next theme.

Adina, it just occurred to me that if the title of your Sunday email were more identifiable, along the lines of DoodleKisses Sunday Update say, people would not so readily overlook or delete it. Same title, with date perhaps, every week. Just a thought : ) I think sometimes the weekly thing gets lost in a slew of DK mail.

It lists DoodleKisses.com as the sender and the subject is whatever headline I write. Now, realistically, if the headline of every single Sunday email was "Sunday Update" -- I can guarantee you within a few weeks it would end up trashed more often than not. My goal is always to write a headline that's interesting, or else nobody, except those who already visit DK daily and know where to find the slide show info, will even look at the message.
