Is your doodle good in the car?

I was just wondering if your doodle(doodles) like the car. because ours just loves going for car rides, long or short ones. I was wondering if it is rare for them to like it?

Ranger will circle my feet if she thinks I am leaving the house- she LOVES the car! She prefers the frontseat, but I keep her in back in case I stop short. I just with they allowed dogs inside the grocery store!

wow that is really good that she isnt pacing anymore or anything. I could see how that would be annoying.

Maddie loves going for car rides - she sits up in the back seat like a human and looks out the side window.  On long rides she usually just lays down and sleeps.  She also seems to know when we are going to the dog park and once our car is on the bridge travelling over the river her tail starts wagging and she makes a few whiny noises because the park is just around the corner..

We do have one problem with car rides though - she will not jump up into my SUV - we have to lift her front paws up onto the seat and then haul the rest of her 60lb body up into the vehicle.  She will however jump out on her own - woohoo!.

so cute. Ya Oliver does a similar thing. He will put his front paws up onto the seat and than we have to lift the rest of his 70 pound body into the car and he doesn't even put any effort to try and help us get him up, he just sits there and falls into your arms. But he does jump down as well. Oliver also seems to know when we get close to the dog park and if we say the words he goes banana's and whines and wags his tail as well. They are just so cute...

Luna does the same thing!  She refuses to jump into the car.  She has no issues jumping on the couch or into the bathtub... but the car.. no way!

 

Luna is very calm in the car - she sits on my lap on the way to the dog park and looks out the window.  On the way back she sits in the back seat (due to the mud/wetness!) and tries to sneak into my lap when I'm not looking.

aww so cute. Yes oliver tends to like riding shotgun but once hes muddy hes in the back seat and than always tries to sneak up. Now Oliver will occasionally jump into the car but on the rare occasion and we have a flat bath thing in our garage to wash him. But he does love the couch as well!

Nash love riding in a car.  When ever he see's an open car door he jumps in and makes himself at home.  Doesn't matter who's car as he has jumped into my neighbors one :)

aww thats so funny! Oliver will just put his front paws up into someones car as he does not jump up into the car very often. Lol.

Abby and Rufus just can't get enough of riding in the car.  We have an SUV and when the sliding door is opened they jump right in without hesitation.  Abby sits in the back seat and Rufus looks out the big side window as we drive along.  When we get back home I have to drag Abby out as she always wants to stay there!!

haha. Oliver doesnt stay in the car usually but would be so cute. It would be neat to see that. :)

Do people use a Seat Belt in the car for their Doodles?
