Fall is coming! The wet, muddy season is upon us.

I love the changing leaves, cool evenings and hay rides. I hate the excessive rain, mud and mess! If you live in the mid-west you understand. I'm sure other regions do too. Let's see your muddy, wet doodles/dogs.

OK, so these aren't doodles, but they will be doodle mom's, so they count, right? When it rains we always close off the doggie door, but today we forgot to, now we must pay!


But we had sooo much fun!

WOW, what a mess! I really can't show pix because I have a chocolate Doodle, and the dirt does not show on her.............which makes it very hard to see when she's dirty:(

OK..........how do you clean these guys up. I'm still trying to figure out the easiest way.............haven't found one yet :(

Well.... The pictures were taken while they were in the shower. We have a big walk in one with multiple shower heads. When we bought the house the master bathroom was just completely remodeled for them, and then they decided to move. They would probably die if they knew we used it to clean the dogs! Anyway, I turn on one head to rinse and also use the removable shower head. I just scrub & rinse a few times. I've taught my daughter to do it and she's actually the one who cleaned them today. She is so good with the dogs. :o) So... I guess the easy way is, have the kids do it. :o) She even did it without complaining today!

I have a chocolate doodle too, you can't really see dirt on her either.

I too am dreading the rain and mud. Our summer has been very wet to begin with so Dyson has been getting cleaned quite regularly... We too shower him in the master shower :o)

Glad to know I'm not the only one! I can actually fit 4 dogs in the shower at one time! There's a little ledge to sit on, so it saves my back. I don't like to do that many at a time, but sometimes it has to be done. :o\ Somehow I doubt that when they design new showers they consider their use for dog washing! :o)

it's just so much easier though isn't it? I find the bathtub gives him too much room to roam and the laundry tub to be too small so the shower stall it is with the shower wand.

I want my carpets gone sooooo bad!!!! I just need to have a plan of what to put in once their gone. I want hard wood. Hopefully soon! My dogs also try to jump on the bed when their wet!

Oh yes! Love & adore no matter what! Sometimes we just enjoy them a little more than others. It's not easy to snuggle with a muddy doodle. :o)
