It was great to meet Ruthie and Slyvie yesterday at the romp.It was the best ever...over 100 dogs! Got to meet Barbara Eden...did several contests...Best Dancer!!! ( did not win) and best of all...raised over $1000.00 for humane society.
New friends..great food and wonderful times..an event worth traveling too..next year ...hope to meet more of you al!

I believe Actor Clint Eastwood and his wife adopted a Australian multigen from Hale's Doodles in Southern California. Also, I believe actress Florence Henderson also adopted a doodle from the same breeder.

Yes, barbara is so down-to-earth and her Doodle is lovely too.
DSid you get your photo taken?
I did with graci and she must have taken 70 photos...she also took photos around the grounds.
I will ask her if she would be kind enought to send us a few to post!

I also attended the Doodle Romp. It was great and a lot of fun! I attended just for researching doodles. The romp just reaffirmed my plan on adopting a doodle. Doodles and their owners were so friendly. I'm just sorry I did't get to meet members of DoodleKisses there :(.

you were wise to go to this romp to see all the doodles...all the shapes and sizes!
we did that too before we got our graci...( we were the crazy couple doing the dancing contest...poorly but funny!
Barbara is always so gracious with her time..did you get to meet her jinjin...that was the name of her genie-dog on her show
( alot of people don't remember that!
0 she is still so beautiful!
forgive my lack of typing today ...hand operation yesterday ..only right hand use.
yes, i would have liked to meet you too..sharon puts on this romp with hard work and lots of love for the pups. we raised quite a nice bit of change for humane society too. her romp is by far the best and worthwhile ...the rest are fun, but mostly a meet in a dog park.
did you get to see all those puppys? it made me yearn for the puppy days!
i do not know if you have heard of curtis rist? hudson valley australian labradoodles? in new york? he has fantastic dogs.
....also for adoption ..there is madeline from southern ca. poodles ...she occaisionally has labradoodles and golden doodles that need good homes. she is at www.poodleclubsocal.com
or 815-529-7405. after my work at the shelter this year , i will see her for my next doodle!

It was great to see you & Gracie & visit a little at the romp since we go back a ways. It was as much fun as ever and I'm already looking forward to next year. Hi suz!
I think this year's romp was just over 200 people and 150 dogs.
it was the best because it was a manageable crowd...last year was so large , it lost that special something we have worked so hard to create.
I loved meeting all the new people too...did you notice lots of goldendoodles? really pretty dogs! perfect guests and great energy!
