Anyone Have A NOOK!

Anyone have a NOOK (from Barnes and Noble).  If so, any good tips for cheap/free books.  Just got mine for my b-day and so far love it!

I have the ipad, and I love it. I'm like Linda, I love finishing a book and immediately downloading a new one. With the ipad you can download the Kindle app and the Nook app for free, but all books are basically the same price weather you purchase them from Apple, Amazon, or B&N.

Jane, you just go to the App store on your ipad and download the Kindle app, it's free. From the Kindle App you will be able to purchase books.

I have a nook too and love it!! Congrats! Here's a trick I learned from someone who works at Barnes and Noble. If you go into "shop" on the nook and then "search" type in "0.00" in search field......all the free ebooks come up :-)
You can also borrow from a library to the nook. I have not tried this yet. You may need to join a larger urban library in order to have availability and bigger selection. I heard Philadelphia was good. Enjoy!

I just picked up a flyer at B&N on Friday that says the Ohio state library system has books. I have to check it out yet though. Haven't gone in to see how to do it. I'll try the 0.00 search though, thanks.

I have a Nook and love it! I would be open to lending books if anyone is interested..I don't have to many to lend right now, but I'm working on it. ;)
