Please help --- silly question about leaving messages on pages

I just joined last week. My puppy is 11 weeks old today and many of you left nice messages on our page, but I can't figure out how to respond to say "thank you for the warm welcome". I don;t know if it's the computer I'm on now ... no adobe, can't load it (long story) of if I'm just missing the obvious,

Steph, right under the comment that someone leaves on your page, it says "comment back". If you click that, it will take you to the "comment" box on that person's page.

If you click on "view thread" instead of "comment back" you can also see what the person had written to you so you can respond in detail when needed.

You can also click on the person's picture or name to get to their page.

Yes, as others have said, it is best to just click on the word "message" between the name of the person who sent and the person who received the message. It will go to their page and you can leave a comment. By the way, welcome to DoodleKisses. Start posting photos as soon as you get some. Love to see those puppy pics.

Send Message creates a private message to one's inbox--not to one's page. One also has to be 'friends' with that person to send private messages.

I am having a similar problem. I am very new to Doodlekisses and not very computer savy (just a warning for anybody willing to help me), I have tried to comment back on messages left for me. It takes me to their page and allows me to write but when posting, I get an error message. I have logged off and started over, tried on a different day, tried different sites. I still have been unsuccessful. However, I have had not problems posting things on my page. Any help would be appreciated as I look forward to being a part of this community.

It should work pretty easily. Are you talking about messages left on your page? Click on "Comment Back", underneath the message you received. Write a message in the blank box on the other person's page where you will now find yourself, and hit "add comment". Hope that works and welcome to DK. If that doesn't work, post on the main page in a discussion, under Category How To Tech... and Adina, the creator of DK or someone will rescue you.
