Last year our Mom could submit 5 photos of each doodle for the calendar. Now she can only submit 3 per doodle. We are outraged. What happened to the one dog five pictures rule? Isn't this a democracy? Are some dogs more entitled than others?  We have to share hugs and kisses never mind one car, one yard and other things. Now we are discriminated against in the one place we though was egalitarian. OFL (our fearless leader),  Adina has gone too far. She will pitifully plead that she has a baby, a dog,  a puppy , a husband and a home to care for in addition to a job. We say so what. Get Natalie, Clark, And Rosco to judge too. Really Boca is too young to make important decisions.  Fellow canine citizens of DK rise up and protest.  Photographers march on Washington. Actually last year there was a 5 photo limit for all..and then I felt bad about those with multiple dogs so I let them have 5 per dog. But 10-15 photos per member (with 2-3 doods) gets to be a bit much with as many members as we have...which is always more than the year before. I'm very sorry but another way to look at it is from the 1-doodle owner: Why should someone with more dogs have more chances for doodle fame than me with one dog? Is my one doodle less worthy of submissions?

Because each dog is soooooo cute, that's why. We shouldn't be punished because we have doodle brothers and sisters! It isn't our fault we aren't only dogs..... Only dogs get so much more attention. They don't have to share treats, walks, car rides, food, toys.......Geez, How about if one of us is owned by mom and one by dad????? Sneaky, sneaky...

This is a doodle oriented site. Without us there would be no DK. Let's look at it from the dog point of view not the owners. We hate that term owner anyway. We are not chattel but beloved family members. The "owners" are not getting any kudos, it's us the doodles. Otherwise you should have submission of "owner" photos not dogs. "Is my one doodle less worthy of submissions. Of course not Each doodle is worthy hence each doodle should have the same number of photos. Calla and Luca

Jackdoodle here. My mom has never submitted even one photo of me for the DK calendar, and this year will be no different. I am never going to be a calendar doodle! Even though I am sure I am cute enough to be one! You have to be in it to win it!!!!!
My mom is a lousy photographer, and she doesn't take many photos of anything, even me. She is also confused by this tiny digital camera my human sister bought. Every year at this time, i.e. calendar submissions time, I get bad allergy symptoms and I don't look as good as I usually do. Mom always means to take new photos earlier in the year, but forgets until it's too late. So every year, there are calendars all over my house with pictures of my DK friends, and I am never included! No fair!
So I am thinking I will sell the five submissions that she won't be using to the highest bidder. I'm just trying to figure out how I can set up a private email account so she doesn't know about it.

Hey Jack I have allergies too, my mom calls me "chicken legs" at this time of year. Maybe there should be a "nose" calender for those of us who are less fortunate. Scratch, scratch, chew, chew.

I have a mullet now, too. The hair is broken off really short on my head going halfway back. :(
