Help - How do you stop your posts on DK from showing up on Google?

No. It was on Chris's "my page". I have taken my last name off my page now.

Any thing on a public page can and does come up.

Linda, I noticed you changed your profile name, but your URL still has your full name. That's what will cause you to still come up in a google search. That's the part that has to be changed. Making your page private means people can't see that, but your discussions and comments in the public forums and groups will still come up on Google.

The way to change it is to go to you page, then manage my page and change what appears in Address. As I said above, I am now Iskibibble.

I'm wondering if you change your URL on DK, do you still see your old post with the old URL on Google?

I don't think there is any way to escape Google. Last night I changed by URL to Ricki29. That stopped the Google seach for my full first and last name. So last night all that was coming up were my blogs under Ricki & Tara. Now tonight when I put Ricki & Tara in Google shows a listing for Ricki & Tara's page on DK and it goes straight into My Page again. This wasn't happening last night. And the address shows the Doodle Kisses address with my Ricki29 at the end which as I said I just changed it to last night.

Well your name is still Ricki + Tara -- Google is gonna find what is written. You can change your profile name further...do you not want 'Ricki & Tara' to show up either?

No, but thanks. I was just trying to make the point that Google is keeping up with the changes I make. I don't have anything personal on my page that I can think of. Like I said it is my first experience with a social group and I have to get used to seeing myself showing up in cyberspace I guess. As you said just about everything on DK is available to anyone who wants to look anyhow. I followed DK for months before I finally joined.

Just be so active on dk that you end up with 156,000 entries and no one would be able to follow those!!!!! Become a hopeless doodle addict.
