Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I'm in Nashville, TN and I keep an eye on the possible doodles in area non-rescue shelters.  I have family in Michigan so I keep an eye on that area also.  Here is a labradoodle listed in the Gladwin, Mich shelter.  The fee is $20 + spay/neuter cost.  This boy is young and looks like a treasure.

Have any of the rescues tagged him?  If not, surely a Michigander needs another, even temporary, doodle.  I grew up in Mich & I know we love our dogs :-)

He looks terrific if a bit bare. What a wonderful dog he seems to be. And you and your family have been so wonderful to him. Let's hope his lucky streak continues.
He looks like he is smiling and SOOOOO happy!
Gladwyn is gorgeous even shaved down; what a face! That a dog like this ends up in a kill shelter is mind-boggling.
Clearly he once had a home and someone who cared enough about him to teach him not just manners, but tricks!
Suzann, the future looks very bright for Gladwyn, thanks to you, Jennifer, and everyone who is helping him find his way home.
Oh how wonderful. Love the shot with your DH and DD! Glad for Gladwyn
He is perfectly gorgeous! Good work!
Suzann - the DH ain't too bad looking either! WOL!! Your daughter is gorgeous, too!!
I hope he doesn't mind wearing the cone of shame next week! Poor boy - but I am thinking that he will take that just as easily as he took being shaved down by strangers. What a day you all had!!
I am thrilled that your 1st was an easy one!!!
Call me tomorrow - I will send you doodle hugs and a tissue!

hey I can only take credit for how beautiful the real doods are, that would be my SDD, and yes she is gorgeous. We really need to get that acronymn dictionary updated, is there a DB or DF or DLIBF???
What a smart dood! I think he was loved at some point - I wonder what his history is? Anyway, wow a family is going to be lucky. Thanks again Suzann and everyone involved. I hope the permanent foster family keeps us updated too!
GLADWYN UPDATE # 3 He is now in the care of his permanent foster family. He enjoyed milkbones & a marrow bone and a nap on the way. I think the boy is just exhausted. He will be getting neutered TOMORROW. Can we all keep our paws crossed for him?
You'll have to settle for fingers here; JD's paws are too raw to cross right now. Good luck, Gladwyn, you'll be just fine! Thanks for the update, Suzann!
poor JD, our fingers, toes, paws and tails are crossed for him:)
Will do.
