Training Reference

Has anyone read the "Handbook Of Applied Dog Behavior & Training by Steven Lindsay?  I'm always looking for new training and behavior references, and I came across this.  It's very expensive...$101.67, so I'm not going to order it unless someone has read it and felt it was really valuable.  It is not available in my library, so that's not an option.

I was really hoping the books would be available from one of the e-reader companies, but they aren't. They probably will at some point, but not yet.

The books arrived today.....1500 pages. At quick glance they look amazing, but it's probably going to take me a year to get through all this. As discussions come up that are thoroughly covered in the books, I'll try to share some of this author's views. I noticed already that he seems to back most things up with studies that have been conducted, and even points to the "holes" in the research where appropriate.
