So, does the worry EVER go away??

I worry:

>When I leave her

>When I run with her

>about her swimming

>Every time she shakes or naturally circles to get comfortable........will this be a seizure? I ask my self.

Hi Tamara- I totally understand how you feel and I completely agree with Leane. I've found that Bella really picks up on my level of stress so please TRY to relax and so will your baby. Bella's last seizure was early the morning of July 4th (no fireworks - just a 4am wake up) and every day without a seizure is a gift. Right now we're in the process of lowering her dose of Pheno which is a slow process (she's on both pheno and potassium bromide because pheno along didn't control the seizures) and so far so good. Let your dog be her normal self and both of you will do better. I know! Easier said than done! Hang in there! You're not alone in this - we're all learning and here to support each other.
Thanks....Everyone's support here means alot to me!
I think it will. At least it has for me - the constant worry, that is. We just returned from 11 days vacation and I only worried a little. And our Odie was fine - even with a new babysitter and new routine that went along with that. No seizures. We're going on 9 months since Odie's 1st seizure. He's had "only" 2 since April. We don't know exactly what of the many things we've tried that has contributed to the reprieve, but I keep doing the things that has seemed to work for him and I do think that the routine that we're in has contributed to less stress all around. I hope that all your worry, love and thoughtfulness on this will pay off and you'll soon have some insight that will result in a better situation for Giada. She is lucky to have you, hang in there!!!
Thanks :)
