Help for the burping dog, please

My dog is 10 months old. He is having trouble with excessive gas. He burps constantly. He was on Puppy Wellness and then switched him to Blue Buffalo, which he loved. However, on Blue he developed farting with the burping so we have now switched him to Innova. (all switches were done gradually and only with kidbble).He does not seem to like the Innova at all and it is not helping his burping. Although the farting did go away) He uses a raised feeder and we placed a large rock in the center of his bowl to slow him down. He is also on prescription anti gas medication from the vet. He was examined and x-rayed and the vet found nothing wrong but did see that his stomach was filled with gas. He also recommended a low residue food but all low residue food is seems to be made with horrible ingredients.
I am looking to switch again. I want something he will enjoy and still be healthy. As much as I would love to do homemade, I do not have the time and wil not do the raw food diet. I also heard that I should not use anything with fish meal b/c the preservitive is a carcinogenic and all fish meal must be preserved. Someone suggested Wysong Anorgen, another Halo. I need help in order to help my poor dog and his burping issues and give him a food he will enjoy. (by the way I have spent hours on dog food ananysis, etc..)

Sitting here breathing in the after dinner noxious fumes. I switched Calla and Luca from Fromm's to Solid Gold a couple of moths ago. I did it for conveniennce and all has been well except for the fact that Luca, and maybe Calla, could launch hot gas balloons. I may try another of the premium brands I can get locally

yeah. I am having a hard time finding a place close to me that sells Fromm. I finally found one about 15/20 minutes away. If it helps it will be worth it. Did they have bad gas on Fromm as well? His burping has been terrible on all the food he has been on. When he was on Blue the "fumes" could have knocked you out, that one was thwe worst but he loved the taste. He is on Innova/California Natural now but he HATES it! Am going to get Fromm as soon as I can get to that store.

I'm finding this late, but made the same discovery myself. Maple had terrible smelling gas on Solid Gold. I was taking a week to gradually switch her to Fromm and after the first day she picked out the the Fromm and left the Solid Gold in the bowl. Lucky finished her SG scraps (eat, little one, eat!) with no problem but Lucky never suffered the gas issue. Can't help but think that the gas didn't FEEL good to her (as well as didn't smell good to me) with Maple leaving it in the bowl. That's One Smart Dood!

Just wanted to follow up . I switched Sonny to Fromm, 4Star and oh does he love it! We started with the pork and apple sauce and now we are going to try the duck and sweet potates. Hasn't really done much to help his burping issues but boy does he love it! I think next I have to look into a good probiotc. I am sure there is a discussion somewhere on here about those. Thanks everyone for the good suggestion!
