FALL COAT VOTE!!

[Suzann, Rosey & Bandit]

So I found these GREAT coats at TJ MAXX for an unbelievable price of $14.99, they are really nice.  But I am not sure if a Medium or Large for Bandit.  And I am not sure the color of the one for Rosey and it might be a bit small for her...  Can you guys let me know if you think I should go with the medium or large and the pink/grey one at all for Rosey??

 

LARGE - he won't get any bigger it's a bit loose but maybe too sloppy??

 

 

This is the medium it's a nice snug fit - but maybe too small???

Or if it might be too small - I think the end of the coat should hit the top of her tail...

Thanks! I don't like the colors with her red hair. I think the coat would be adorable on a white dood but it kinda clashes with her... and I think it is too small. I just like them to have similiar stuff so they look equally fashionable;) I tried to look up the manufacturer on the web but to no avail... I think for Bandit we will go for the bigger size. Hopefully he will grow in the "right places" into it!

I agree that the large is too large and the medium is too small on Bandit. Although the coats are adorable, IMHO I believe that fit is more important than style....I think I would take a look at Old Navy, Petco, and Petsmart for one that might fit better. On Rosey tho, I love the one you have pictured....both for fit and style! They have these in my TJ Maxx too. I've been trying to resist, as we live in Florida, and Beau already has a whole wardrobe of coats! LOL

Japer doesn't have a coat, we didn't get him until late June. Doesn't get very cold in Virginia, but Rosie and Bandit look so adorable. I might get one for Jasper.

Tara and I have been discussing the new coats and we think that Bandy should go with the large and according to Tara he looks absolutely Doodlicous in it. We think Rosey's is looking too small. We like the print and think it looks very fashionable but we agree that the coat should go to the tail. She needs more coverage.

It looks like Rosey is a "long body" like Tara. It took me a while to find a coat that would cover her from neck to tail. Plus, we have found that the area of the dog that gets equally wet and definitely dirtier than their back from walking in the rain/snow is the UNDERside!! The little paws throw up a LOT of road dirt and it all lands on the lower chest and belly areas. That is why we got the horse coat ; ) which also covers those areas somewhat. The top of their backs of course gets wet but it is clean while the underside can get really gross. We walk on paved roads/sidewalks which have a summer's worth of road grime on them by the time the fall rains hit.

Just remember that any area not covered is not protected from rain, snow, wind or cold (and dirt) And kudos to the puppies for posing so nicely in their new coats!!!

LOVE THEM!!! They look sooooo cute! I am thinking the Large for Bandit - the extra length might help his belly from getting cold wind on it. And for Rosie she looks absolutely adorable - I am liking the color with her coat. Here is Hunter in her winter coat - its from Old Navy - however she is not fond of the hood :-)

Beau has one of these Old Navy ski jackets too! His is white; he also is not fond of the hood.....luckily it snaps off, although it is so adorable on him with the hood, sometimes I persevere, especially if we happen to be someplace with snow and cold. Actually, since they put these on sale every year after the holidays, and when Old Navy has a sale, they do it right: I have picked up several more of the jackets each time they mark them down,....the last couple were marked all the way down to 99 cents! I paid original price for the first white one. Since we live in Florida, he clearly doesn't get a lot of wear of his FOUR ski jackets....LOL when they are 99 cents...I get a new one each time...he has every color!
