He is not a doodle but please keep Sherlock in your thoughts

Today Sherlock, one of our 10 year old Beagles, had to have a bad tooth removed.  In the middle of the surgery the vet called to say he found a suspicious spot in the back of his mouth by his tonsil.  The C word was mentioned.  The biopsy has been sent off to the University of Georgia vet school.  It will be 5 to 10 days before we know the results.  Please send pawsitive thoughts and energy his way.

Thanks everyone for all the positive thoughts, energy, prayers. This morning Sherlock ate his breakfast of softened kibble with chicken and rice. He will be on a soft food diet while we wait for the results. The vet doesn't want (and neither do I) anything rough to irritate his throat. Thanks again for everyone's support.
