Banjo really seems to hate that time of the month. It takes both DH and I to apply the stuff. I'm wondering if it stings. Or is it the smell? Whatever it is he really dislikes it! Banjo is so agreeable to just about everything but really resists when it comes to the Frontline. Anyone else notice this with their dog?
Yes, my guys run when they see me take out the Frontline too. Guinness has learned it's inevitable, so he doesn't go to far too fast, and when I call him he comes to me and sits for the application. Murph is not quite so well trained, so he "heads for the hills and hides". I have to corner him and hold him down. I'm afraid that after being so sick these past few days he'll be trying to convince me that he doesn't need it "because it doesn't work anyway".
Well my two hated the frontline, they would run when they saw the stuff or the package. I always wondered if they felt a stinging or something like that that they hated the stuff. Since we are in Florida, and my vet said that Frontline hasn't been working as well down here, he put them on confortis, they take it without a problem and so far so good. I know it doesn't help the tic problem, so they wear tic collars, and so far so good. I will check more carefully since the oreal with Murphy, but so far I haven't seen anything. I also didn't like the way the frontline made their fur feel, it made it feel greasy, but maybe it was my imagination???...But the bottom line is they both hated it...
Baxter gets Advantix for heart worms, ticks and fleas and he runs when I get the package. After I apply it he just paces for at least an hour. The vet said it was like medicated shampoo and tingles. I hate that time of the month too.
