Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

I am searching to find a great Mini English Goldendoodle Breeder.  I have done extensive searching on the internet and know exactly what I'm looking for. If anyone can give me any references I would sincerely appreciate it. I've already looked at the front page with breeders and didn't find any of the breeders I have been found online.

I would love to find a female mini English Goldendoodle between 15-35 pounds with a thick wavy coat. I'm looking for a breeder that is exclusively a Goldendoodle breeder. We originally thought we could find what we were looking for within a reasonble driving distance, but it looks like we may have to have a puppy shipped.

Any references or information on having a puppy shipped would be helpful.

Thanks! :)

That is very interesting! We've always teased my mom about being overly recessive, but it seems by rights she SHOULD have passed on the height! (She's 5'8...I'm 5'5 and my older sister is 5'0. Dad is 5'10). I feel like those extra 3 inches would stretch out the rest of me very nicely!
I suspect height is determined by more than one gene but I have no idea really. Ah but here is the answer:

See the article I posted below about height. It's not so simple.
I know. I did start out with a disclaimer: "Here's a very simplified explanation:"
Oh lordy, DH is Tt, I am ttttt, so we have no hope for a T child. AT least he/she will have green or blue eyes lol. Love the genetic conversation.
If indeed this T gene is anything like the truth than you could indeed have a tall child who would be Tt.e better You would also have better equal odds of having a tt. Since T in this scenario is dominant both Tts would be tall and both tt would be short.
I knew height was a bad one to use for an example, lol.
But those "T"s did work with those darned pea plants!
For a moment there I thought I was headed back to Adina's Marbles in the jar discussion! Very interesting Karen.
Our rescue Clancy is only 19" tall but weighs 62 pounds and he is NOT fat. He is a major throwback to something......
Ned is 17" tall and weighs 27 pounds. At first look one thinks they are similar, at second look, they are not at all.
I sent you a message about our breeder. She doesn't do "english" minis, but you can look at her web at least.
Actually, I thought eye color was simpler than it is. It too is complex and there are more than one set of genes involved.
