If you look at my Lucy and Sophie, the are a prime example of it doesn't matter that they have the same Mom and Dad, they are going to be whatever they end up being. My girls coats, colors, personalities, etc., could not be more different, and they are liter mates.

I wasn't sure in your pictures which dog was which. whose dog has the pink collar?
that is Bella's sister....If you see all those wild hairs sticking out all over Bella that is what i am wondering if they will fall out because they dont when she is brushed.....I currently just use a slicker brush on her and it works well....Like I said earlier in a post not sure if you saw it she has never even looked like she was going to have a matt but i do brush her twice daily usually....Should I use a different brush?
If this brush is working for you, I personally wouldn't change. If it were me personally, I would let her continue to grow to see what her coat looks like long. Sophie was over two years old before I cut her coat. She had some coarser hair on her back that I really hated. it was more just frizzy than curly, right on the top of her rump. (that was part of her coat change). I was constantly putting something on her to try and take out the frizz or curl a little more. Her hair at that point was probably about 4-5 inches long. Finally one day I had just had enough and took the clippers to her. I loved the way she looked. It is possible that Bella will turn out like her sister, but you just never really know. However, the only thing that cutting her down is really going to do is like Adina says, give you smaller hairs to sweep up. Probably won't seem like she sheds as much only because they are smaller.
I am with Adina on the shedding. A shedder is a shedder. We had a lab mix that we shaved for his entire life because he shed - just like a lab - hence our knowledge of what his male parent was. He was actually half Australian Shepherd but not his fur. Anyway, we kept him shaved because it worked for us and we could control how much shedding there was and he had no 'look.' Clancy, our rescue doodle, sheds also and I would never dream of shaving him because it would spoil his doodleness. We live with it. Both situations were our choice. Here my boys are in the styles that suit us and them. Simon is the one on your far right and Clancy is the dood in the background.

I guess i didnt mean shave her all the way down just a trim.....oops what ya think?
My Hunter is an F1 and her coat texture looks very similar to Bella's. Hunter did shed quite a bit even thought I brushed her with a Furminator. When I had her shaved down she will still shed just smaller hairs - I don't know if the long or short hairs were worse! THEN low and behold when she got just over 1 1/2 years old her shedding has decreased a ton! May people told me that it could by then but I of course didn't believe them because I could have totally made a doodle coat out of her fur. Be patient and hopefully it will just diminish on its own like everyone told me it would and it did!!! BTW Bella is a DOLL - I love her nose!!
I just love he nose I kiss it all the time most people would gross out but i love me some doodle nose kisses...they are the best....When my daughter was a baby it was her chin sugar I loved.....She of course would kill me now if I tried to get her chin sugar seeing she is 21.....lol............
Sasha is 1 yr and she is shedding right now... I brush, brush, brush her, she is very hairy and has corkscrew like hair. If I let her go a couple of days without brushing or combing she gets matted. Oliver who is 3 1/2 months is shedding a bit now too, neither of them shed much but I do find hair tubmbleweeds around the house. I cut Sasha a little shorter in the beginning of the summer because it was just easier and Oliver will probably have a coat similar to Sasha and next summer they will both have a summer cut.... its just easier to maintain in the summer with getting wet, swimming, playing etc. etc.
