Has anyone tried dehydrated raw food? Honest Kitchen, N-R-G or Canisource?

I just switched my 6 month old from Orijen to Canisource. Just curious if anyone has experience feeding dehydrated raw food. It seems like the best option for those who would like minimally processed food, but are unable or unwilling to go raw.

We tried Honest Kitchen and our Sydney and Olivia did not like it. We ran into a "rep" for Canine Caviar who gave us samples and literature regarding their dog food....the info is very, very interesting!!!!!!! It is "holistic and quickly settles digestive upsets, reduces itching, scratching, shedding and hot spots while addressing health concerns like kidney, liver, heart disease, diabetes, cancer and cholesterol." It is the closest dry food to a raw diet. It is "flash cooked and retains nutritional integrity and increases bioavailability (no GMOs and Highest Digestibility)". Our doodles have been on it for about 4 months and we have seen a drastic improvement in their poo and coats. Canine Caviar recommends a protein rotation. We keep them on one type for about 6 weeks then switch. We tried the lamb/pearl millet, venison/split pea grain free, chicken/pearl millet, and special needs. They loved them all!!!!!! The venison is most expensive so we plan to treat them to the venison every third switch. We went by their recommendation of a straight transition over to Canine Caviar from Ultra Premium Natural Balance without phasing over and they were just fine. They eat less (since Canine Caviar is highly digestible) and their poo is much healthier. They are so calm after they eat........kind of how we are after our Thanksgiving Day Dinner! The website is: caninecaviar.com. It is worth reading about even if you are not ready to make a change. We hope this info is valuable to you.
It's great that the product is working for you, but the company's claims that "It is "holistic and quickly settles digestive upsets, reduces itching, scratching, shedding and hot spots while addressing health concerns like kidney, liver, heart disease, diabetes, cancer and cholesterol." are garbage. It may be a very good product, but no food in the world can do these things. We always advise people to look at independent sources and not the claims of the people who are selling a product.
We have quite a few members who are using Honest Kitchen products, and they are very happy with them. If you do a search of Food Group discussions, you will find quite a bit of info on it.
I looked at Canisource and wasn't able to find an actual list of ingredients or a nutritional analysis on their website. Without that, I can't really comment, except that I find it strange that they include grains of any kind in a raw food product. This doesn't mean it's a bad product. I also wonder if it is available outside of Canada?
