Call me crazy but I did it again. Doodles are addictive and this will be my third one. I got my first, Rosie, for my granddaughter Michaela but since no one was home all day at their house, Rosie lived with me. Last year things changed at Michaela's house where someone would be home so Rosie went to live with Michaela. After a few months I was missing having a four legged friend around I got Rosie's half sister Maggie. Now I got to thinking Maggie needs a playmate so I just bought an eight week old who is nameless right now. She is a phantom mini goldendoodle and will be arriving on Sunday (Halloween) and she needs a name. Any suggestions? Of course all suggestions will have to be approved by Michaela and her sister, Haley.
I'm sort of going with the Phantom idea. Can't wrap my arms around Luna only because my daughter has a 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback (my grandpup) and when I hear that name my visual is not a Doodle but my sweet Luna Paw. I love human names for dogs rather than cutesie names. But...I do like Phantom.
I like all of the above mentioned names. But sticking with the theme and a cute girl name, I personally would go with WENDY...Wendy the good little witch, was from Casper the friendly ghost. Good look with her, post pictures
So many great suggestions. I can't wait to find out when she will arrive at the airport on Sunday. I plan to take Michaela and Haley on a "mystery ride" to the airport with me. They have no idea that I bought a new pup. I hope I can keep it a secret. The airport is about an hour away and I hope I can stand all the questions about where we are going, etc. They will most likely recognize the route to the airport and wonder what person I'm picking up. The ride home will be a hoot, two excited girls and one scared puppy. Keep sending names, I'm writing them all down so the girls can check them out once they see her.
Piper, Prudence, Phoebe ( the three witches in the TV show Charmed)

Alexandra, Jane, Sukie (from the movie the Witches of Eastwick)
Janet, Magenta, Nell (from the Rocky Horror Picture Show)
Morgan (the temptress and sorceress that was King Arthur's sister)
Okay, somebody stop me...
You know I always go with the food names....so how about Candy, Tootsie, Snickers, Lollipop, Razzle, Mary Jane, Reeses, Licorice, Skittles, Twizzler, Wrigley, or Peppermint Patty. After all, I think candy is one of the best things about Halloween.
