I found this on Dr Fosters and Smith site. It helped me find my F7C blade that is perfect for grooming my doodles. Hopefully it will help someone else too.

above guide will help you make the correct blade selections for grooming your pet. Please use the following guidelines whenever more than one blade is recommended: For blades that refers to (&) use in combination with each other. For blades that refers to (or) you may choose the blade size based on the closeness of the cut you desire. The higher the blade number the closer the trim will be.
