Who's More Affectionate...Male or Female Doodles?

I had always heard breeders say that male dogs are more affectionate than females, but I had only ever had females, so I had nothing to compare them to. Now that I have Jack, I'm thinking the rumors are true. I know some of you have at least one of each, so tell us...who are the biggest "lovers"...the boys or the girls?

Paddington is a big cuddle bug, and although we've never had a female doodle, our female lab could care less about us laying on the floor or even want to follow us anywhere. Paddington should have been called shadow! Interesting discussion!

Yes, my Mocha does prefer my hubby.... but still no kisses!!

I would have to vote - MALE 100% !!! My female is such a snob (I say that in the nicest way cause I LOVE her to death)...but she won't even kiss me :-(
We have to beg for her attention constantly!!! She cracks me up!! But she is unlike any dog I have ever had or met that is for sure!! She is unique and I love her :-) I wouldn't trade her for the world!! My pretty girl!!

I just got a male (Ozzie - my BIG BOY) and he loves me and kisses me all the time :-)

Although I think Ozzie's attention to me is making her wonder if she should be nicer??? So far - still no kisses though :-(
